ZOE BIO-REGENERATIVE WELLNESS CLINIC

ZOE Bio-Regenerative Wellness Clinic in Santorini was conceived as a calm, restorative medical-wellness environment where clinical precision enters into dialogue with the sensorial intelligence of hospitality. As Greece’s first clinic dedicated to integrative, bio-regenerative care, ZOE required a complete design language capable of expressing trust, care, renewal and quiet sophistication.

Studio Vourli led the creative direction, brand development and interior architecture of the clinic, shaping the project from brand identity and spatial concept to bespoke furniture, lighting, uniforms, website direction and guest touchpoints. Inspired by the cell — the foundation of life — the design translates ZOE’s regenerative philosophy into a coherent spatial and sensory experience.

Located within Santorini’s volcanic landscape, the project introduces a strong localisation strategy through textured surfaces, sculptural forms, copper accents, artisanal objects and material references to the island’s rough geological terrain. Copper became a key material thread, chosen for its warm, life-associated tone and its antimicrobial properties, informing details such as handles, dispensers, furniture elements and refined interior accents.

Rather than treating the clinic as a conventional medical space, Studio Vourli developed ZOE as a premium wellness and hospitality environment where care is experienced spatially, emotionally and materially. The design framework was conceived to support future locations, allowing each clinic to respond to its local context while remaining true to ZOE’s core identity and ethos of care.

The project was awarded Gold for Best Greek Health & Wellness Experience, recognising its integrated approach to medical wellness, hospitality, brand identity and spatial design.

Inspired by the essence of ZOE (life) and the CELL (the foundation of life), the clinic’s design weaves a seamless narrative between medical aesthetics and premium hospitality, shaped through localisation.

The ‘Philokalia’ lighting series by Yula Vourli was commissioned as an anchoring element throughout the clinic. Drawing on principles of inner stillness, rhythm and material honesty, each lamp functions as a ritual object softening light, grounding the body and reinforcing ZOE’s healing atmosphere. For this project, volcanic textures and subtle copper accents were introduced to echo Santorini’s landscape and the clinic’s regenerative philosophy.
